World Forest ID’s Evaluation Platform: Strengthening Supply Chain Transparency with Blue Raster

Blue Raster and World Forest ID (WFID) have partnered to create a powerful custom digital solution that enhances traceability and accountability in global forest supply chains. The WFID Evaluation Platform is a secure, user-friendly web tool that uses chemical data from geolocated reference samples and genus distribution information to predict the likely harvest origin of timber samples. Soon, the platform will also support agricultural commodities like soy and cocoa.

Accountability Framework Initiative and Compliance with GFW Pro

Blue Raster is proud to announce two updates to GFW Pro that allow for more efficient analysis of supply chains in light of new international regulations. By applying the Accountability Framework, producers can better ensure that their supply chains adhere to international standards of sustainability and report to stakeholders and consumers the steps they are taking to secure a better future for people and the planet.

Promoting Sustainable Forestry Practices with High Resolution Imagery

Blue Raster is proud to have developed and supported an audit area tool for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). This solution pulls data so that auditors can examine historic and current tree cover before going on site to complete their inspections. Blue Raster recently integrated high resolution satellite imagery from Planet and Sentinel into the audit area tool.
