Project Spotlight: Holden Arboretum Drone Mapping Project
Blue Raster partnered with Holden Arboretum in Northeast Ohio to capture high-resolution drone imagery for a 3,600-acre arboretum and its associated Cleveland Botanical Garden site. Using Esri’s ArcGIS Drone2Map, over 1,700 images were captured and processed to create an accurate basemap for GIS workflows. This imagery supports staff operations, ArcGIS Field Maps, and public applications, enabling real-time tracking of over 20,000 plant records and enhancing management of curated collections and natural lands.
